Hi, I’m Jordan Vasquez, the founder of Jadid Media. What started as a hobby project has blossomed into a true passion for capturing life's moments through photography and videography. The name "JADID" stands for "Just A Dude In Debt," which reflects a deeper understanding that we all carry some form of debt—whether it be time, money, or experiences. This sentiment resonates with me as I embark on this journey of following my passion.
My love for media creation began in 2018 when I assisted my now fiancée (and soon-to-be wife) with her photography business while still in high school. The experience ignited a spark in me, prompting me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Communications at Cal Poly SLO, where I graduated with honors in 2023. In February of the same year, I took a leap of faith and launched Jadid Media, committing to my passion for photography and videography.
My editing style leans towards true color – I believe in minimal editing that preserves the authenticity of each moment, albeit with a bright and warm touch. What I enjoy most about my work is the opportunity to be part of someone's special day. I engage with clients to help them feel comfortable and at ease during shoots, and witnessing their reactions when they see the final results is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.
As a dedicated family man, I cherish spending time with my two kids and my fiancée. My vision for Jadid Media goes beyond just being a media company; I aspire to be known as a creative, fun, and stereotype-breaking entity on the Central Coast. I want JADID to represent the journey of just a dude navigating life and chasing dreams.
I look forward to capturing your beautiful moments and sharing this journey with you.
